The present 'Aspirin Diaries' line-up includes
Mike Edwards on vocals, harmonica, slide and acoustic
guitars; Sam Harley on vocals, keyboards, bass, electric,
slide, baritone and acoustic guitars; Dik Cadbury on
fiddle, vocals and acoustic guitars; Derek Adams on
drums and John Acock on Keyboards. There are extra drums
and percussion by Dominic Langlands Pearse, Mike and
Sam. The whole thing is being produced by Mike and Sam,
mixed by John, mastered by Patrick Bird and was recorded
at Airwave's 'Red Shed' studios in Gloucestershire. |
The 'Aspirin Diaries' are now fine tuning the lyrics, finishing
the lead vocals and mastering the 'El Secreto' album for late-March
release. Delays have been due to Mike working in Argentina
including songwriting with Martin Arbeletche for his band
'Los Mojos' and Airwave Records new collaboration with moose-music.com
(music that actually makes money!!).
A shortened 'El Secreto' album will be available for free
download for MP3 players from the myspace.com/aspirindiaries
but a fully mastered un-compressed CD, complete with liner
notes, will also be for sale.
Due to a hard disc failure a lot of Airwave Records database
has been lost so if you were in communication with us please
re-establish contact using our new email address mikele@airwaverecords.com
